Grillz Care Guide
Like anything of value, your grillz need proper care to maintain their quality and appearance. We take pride in crafting each piece to a high standard — and keeping them in that condition is just as important.
We understand it’s not always convenient to come in regularly, so we’re continuously developing and testing ways for you to maintain your grillz at home, ensuring they stay clean, polished, and looking their best between services.
Keep Your Grillz Looking Flawless
You’ve invested in hand-crafted, custom-fitted grillz — proper care ensures they stay looking sharp for years to come.
Over time, gold and silver naturally lose their lustre, and plating fades especially with regular wear.
Unlike jewellery worn on the body, grillz are exposed to moisture and bacteria in the mouth, which can dull their shine much faster.

How to Care for your Grillz :
-
Pour a few drops of alcohol-free mouthwash or mild, alcohol-free antibacterial soap (such as natural castile or baby-safe soap) into a small glass or container of warm water.
-
Place your grillz in the solution and soak for 3–5 minutes.
-
Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to very gently scrub the inside and outside of your grillz.
-
Rinse thoroughly with warm (not hot) water, then pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
-
For extra shine, use the polishing cloth we provided with your order, moving in small circular motions.
Important
-
Avoid any products containing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, bleach, or abrasives — these can damage the metals and are not safe for oral use.
-
Do not use toothpaste - it’s too harsh and may scratch the surface of your grillz.
-
Always check the ingredients of any cleaning product you choose to use — only use substances that are safe for oral contact.
Everyday Care Tips
-
Clean your grillz after every wear. Bacteria builds up quickly and can affect both the grillz and your oral health.
-
Remove your grillz before eating or drinking anything besides water.
-
Smoking causes silver and gold to tarnish more quickly - this is a natural chemical reaction and not considered a fault.
Handling & Storage
-
Use a Grillz case to protect your grillz when you’re on the go.
-
Never put your grillz loose in your pocket, purse, or bag — they can get squashed or bent, which can affect how they fit.
